The birth centenary celebrations of guru Suchindram S. P. Sivasubramaniam Bhagavatar will be held on Sep 24 at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet. A book and album featuring 25 of his compositions will be released. The chief guest is vidwan Dr. T. V. Gopalakrishnan.
Guests of honour are musicians Chitravina N. Ravikiran and T. M. Krishna, veteran bharatanatyam exponent Nandini Ramani and V. V. Sundaram. Akkarai Sisters – S. Subalakshmi and S. Sornalatha, T. M. Krishna and several others will perform at this event. At 4 p.m.
