The post graduate and research department of geography, tourism and travel management at Queen Mary’s College, Mylapore will be celebrating World Tourism Day, on Sept. 26 and 27 at the college campus.
‘Tourex 2017’ will be inaugurated by the chief guest V. K. T. Balan, founder of Madura Travels on Sept. 26. The keynote address will be given by playback singer Senthildass. Shruthi Sharma, sales manager-business development, Inter Continental Hotel Group will give the keynote address at the valedictory function on Sept. 27. Students will present cultural programmes on both the days.
