Mylapore Times Charitable Trust (MTCT) has started its campaign to raise funds to help students who have done well in their Plus Two / Std.10 exams and need support to advance in their academics.
Though school alumni groups and private donors support many such students of Mylapore schools, there are many more who are left stranded.
Last year, MTCT supported some 25 plus students.
This year, the Trust hopes to raise Rs.3 lakhs plus to help at least 25 students. Applications from schools and students have begun to come in as well as donations.
