Mylapore MLA R. Nataraj distributed a host of scholarships to deserving students from economically poor families at a simple function held on Friday noon.
The event was held at the Chennai Corporation hall on C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet in the presence of well wishers of the students and a few AIADMK party members.
The office of the MLA said these scholarships were made out of private donations.
