A bunch of men make the sales pitch – a high end branded phone is up on a special sale for a special price. The officer fobs them off. They don’t give up. He gets tempted. And is handed over a smart pack. He pays for the deal.
The men take off; the officer opens the pack and finds a bar of soap.
Now, Mylapore police are trying to locate the conmen.
