Cadres of the DMK party have begun to head to and gather at the gates of Kauvery Hospital in Alwarpet after the hospital put out a medical bulletin at about 6 p.m. saying that Karunanidhi’s condition is on the ‘decline’.
He has been in this hospital for over ten days now and save for a slight improvement of his condition a few days ago, he has been on critical support.
The positive news encouraged cadres to disperse last weekend and police security was also thin.
But now that cadres are massing up at this TTK Road junction, police too are securing the place.
