A synchronized performance: By the students of St. Anthony’s Girls school

It was a near perfect performance matched to preppy beats. Be it the lezime workout, asanas, the kicks and punches by the karate team or the fiery stunts with the silambam, the skills displayed by the students of St. Anthony’s Girls School, San Thome at their annual sports meet was nothing short of remarkable.

The event started off with an impressive march past by the students. A mass drill and the relays followed.

The chief guest at the event, which was held at the school campus recently, was S. Selvanagarathinam, deputy commissioner of police, Triplicane. Rev. Sr. Anthonyammal, the correspondent of the school, was the guest of honour. Other attendees included the principal of the school Rev. Sr. Jacquline, staff and parents.
