On Sunday, a senior citizen was robbed while walking at Luz Church Road in the morning.
70 year old Paramasivan, a resident of Kapali Thottam, Mylapore was approached by a person in an auto claiming to be a policeman. He offered to give Paramasivan a ride home.
As soon as he got into the auto, the suspect asked him to remove his gold ring. On refusal, Paramasivan was robbed at knifepoint and let off later.
