  1.  I offer my deepest condolences on the death of
D Shankaran, who founded and ran Shankar IAS Academy in Chennai, the capital city of Tamilnadu. It is an irreparable  loss to the teaching fraternity in general  and civil services aspirants in particular. I am told that he was the man of high values and with unlimited knowledge of the subjects he taught at his academy preparing for administrative jobs. But what defeated his life to the extent that he had to commit suicide that nobody ought to think of is a question mark to the society facing failed matrimonial life as he had a fierce arguments and fights with his wife before he chose to hang himself in his bedroom. The intellectuals all across need to come forth, ponder over the issue and strive to lead the society where people should live fullest of their life meaningfully.
