Mahakavi Bharati’s birth anniversary celebrations were held at Kalyan Nagar Association in Mandavelipakkam on December 8 evening.
The programme was organized by Vedha Bharathi of T. Nagar.
Rastriya Seva Samithi (RSS) senior member RPVS Manian spoke on this occasion. A series of Bharati’s songs were sung by a group of students from G K Chetty Vivekananda Vidyalaya in Ambattur.
