The community of CSI St Thomas English Church in San Thome is a close one. And at Christmastime, it hosts a series of events for the season, religious and social.
On Sunday evening, the church choir, including the teeny ones treated the community to Christmas carols and music inside the church as the lit stars on campus danced to the rather rough wind blowing in from the Marina side.
Once the carol service was over, the community gathered around a camp fire, a long-time tradition, sang all over again, lit candles in the momentary darkness and then partook of a hot and spicy dinner.
