There are two corridors of Chennai Metro that are proposed for the future. And work on this has been on for some weeks now.
Corridor 3 of the proposed Chennai Metro phase two plans runs from Madhavaram to Sholinganallur. It runs through Dr. RadhakrIshnan Salai, Thirumylai MRTS, Mandaveli and Greenways Road to Adyar and down south down the IT Corridor.
This line can take you to places like Sembium, Ayanavaram, Chetput and Sterling Road to the north and to Taramani, Perungudi and Thoraipakkam on the south side with the interchange station at Thirumylai.
Corridor 4 runs from Light House to CMBT in Koyembedu.
This will also have an interchange at Thirumylai Metro station. This line can take you to places like Nandanam, Pondy Bazaar – Panagal Park, Kodambakkam and Vadapalani.
