On Jan 4, the students of Rani Meyammai Girls School, Mandaveli celebrated their 59th annual Guides Day at the school campus. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Meena Muthiah, kumararani of Chettinad.
The guests were central Chennai guides officers Vivekanandan, Madhavan, Pannerselvam and Venugopalan. Several competitions including rangoli and fireless cooking were held for the girls. Later prizes were distributed to them.
