It is a big day for the people behind the Narada Gana Sabha, the arts promoter based in Alwarpet. It celebrates the diamond jubilee of the formation of the sabha – which fell on February 9.
The landmark is being celebrated this evening – starts with the nadaswaram concert by Seshampatti Sivalingam and the welcome address by sabha president R. Krishnamoorthy.
Tamil Nadu state minister Ma Foi K. Pandiarajan is the chief guest this evening.
The formal event will be followed by the staging of a Thamizh play ‘Idho Endhan Deivam’ by Kudanthai Mali.
