Citizen consumer and civic action group is organising a public meeting on solid waste management practices on Feb 24 at C. P. Art Centre, Alwarpet.
The meeting will explore themes such as harmful effects of dumpyards, privatisation of solid waste management contracts, the role of waste workers and challenges faced by them, and problematic technological solutions to waste management.
