Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home will celebrate the consecration of the Home Shrine and High School Building (built in 1921) on May 7, the Akshaya Tritiya Day.
Maha Abhishekam will take place for Sri Saraswati Devi from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30p.m. Later, prasadam will be distributed.
Free upanayanam (poonal function) will be performed for a few boys on May 8 from 6 a.m. onwards.”Poor and underprivileged families who wish to perform upanayanam for their boys in the age of 10 -13 can also join,” said an office staff.
