Mylaporeans have begun donating to the Scholarships Programme managed by Mylapore Times Charitable Trust (MTCT).
The intent is to support poor students who have excelled in the Plus Two exams and need funds to step into college.
The target is Rs.5 lakhs.
This past week, donations were made by the following well-wishers – Saradha Madhavarao, Abiramapuram – Rs.2000. K. Alamelu, Mandaveli – Rs.5000. S. T. Muralitharan, Mylapore – Rs. 1001. V. Venkataraman, R. A. Puram – Rs.2000.
