Power supply to areas around C. P. Ramaswamy Road, C. V. Road and its environs broke down at about 2.30 p.m. on Monday following a serious problem in the transformer on Dr Ranga Road, Mylapore.
TANGEDCO staff of the area got to work on the problem quickly and power was restored an hour later.
