Abhiramapuram police recently cracked a difficult case of theft of smartphones. The police arrested the brain and his associates who were behind cases of thefts of phones and who used softwares to make a change in the IMEI number and then sell the phones in Kerala.
The change in IMEI made is extremely difficult for police to trace the calls made/ownership of the stolen phones.
