Mylapore and the Freedom Movement – is the theme of a heritage Walk that V. Sriram will lead on August 15 evening.
The Walk touches points that have to do with India’s freedom movement – the place where a group formed the idea of the Congress party to the place where Subramania Bharathi’s writings were first published.
The walk starts at 4 p.m. at the intersection of R. K. Mutt Road and North Mada Street. Lasts for 2 hours, ends with high tea. Costs Rs.800.
