Kartik Fine Arts’ 45th year ‘Art Festival’ will be held from Dec 1 to Jan 5 this year. At the inaugural function which will be held on the first day at Narada Gana Sabha, Alwarpet, the chief guest M. K. Narayanan, former national security advisor and former governor of West Bengal, will confer the title of ‘Nadanamamani’ on dancer Dr. Anita Sivaraman.
The guest of honour Pankaj Renjhen, chief operating officer, Virtuous Retail, will confer the title of ‘Isai Peroli’ on vocalist Ramakrishnan Murthy. A bharatanatyam and odissi jugalbandi will follow. 6 p.m onwards.
