Nippon Paint in association with the Rotary Club of Madras Coromandel held the 15th edition of their annual Rotary Parallel music festival on Dec. 3 at Music Academy, Alwarpet.
The event was inaugurated by N. Murali, president, Music Academy and Carnatic vocalist Dr. S. Sowmya. Three differently abled musicians, Hemalatha Mani (veena), T. K. Padmanabhan (violin) and vocalist Namagiripettai. S. Gokulakrishna were honoured with awards.
The hall was packed with many visually challenged students, rasikas and a host of rotarians and their families.
