Music and dance themed on lord Shiva will be the highlight of many a Sivarathri celebration on Friday, starting in the evening and going into the night and past midnight.
In a heritage bungalow in Pelathope in Mylapore, the Ramkumars will be hosting a marathon series of classical music concerts inside the sprawling house.
Four vocalists, all young artistes will sing here, with concerts starting at 6 p.m. and ending at midnight. Different sets of artistes who will play the flute, mridangam and violin will accompany the vocalist.
The venue : Subbaraya Iyer House, 12, Pelathope, Mylapore ( take the street diagonally opposite MRTS Thirumaiyilai rail station.
Parking for two-wheelers is available but not for cars.
