Cultural bodies in the neighbourhood are suspending their programmes rightaway due to the corona virus issue.
On Saturday, R. R. Sabha said it was suspending one of its series featuring Isaikkavi Ramanan, a monthly talk series. The sabha will take a call end April. But it did not comment on its other events for March.
A lifestyle store in Alwarpet which was to host a conversation breakfast meet on Sunday cancelled the event.
Elsewhere, a TedX meet was also cancelled.
