If there is one big problem that many small stores, especially refreshment and snacks stores are going to face now as they open for business, it will be of customers hanging around the counters and consuming the drink or snack.
This is taking place at any a tea/coffee joint across Mylapore and shop keepers say they have no control on customers who do this.
One Mylaporean pointed out that many people consume coffee they buy at the popular Cothas Coffee off South Mada Street and its front space is often crowded.
As of now, drinks and snacks can only be given as parcels. Most coffee/tea places serve the drink in cups. They are not strict because they too need to get on with the business.
