More virus cases reported in Mylapore

On May 23, a new virus-positive case has been reported at Kuil Thotam, a TNSCB slum board colony off San Thome High Road in Mylapore. Chennai Corporation official who governs the civic activities in this area confirmed that an 18-year-old boy has tested positive from this area.

In addition, two virus cases have been reported from South Truspakkam Street. A mother-daughter duo has tested positive from this area. Also, a person living at South Mada Street has tested virus-positive.

In the past few days, two new cases have been reported from Rakkiyappan street near VSV Koil street and Nattu Subbarayan street. And one new case was reported from New Street. Also, cases have been reported from Luz Avenue Second Street near Nageswara Rao Park, Arunachalam street off St Marys Road, Pidari Amman Kovil Street off Papanasam Sivan Salai, and Kennedy Street.

A youngster at Thatchi Arunachalam Street has been home quarantined after he showed symptoms of the virus. And a ration shop employee at Leith Castle South Street who showed virus symptoms has been taken to hospital for testing. The ration shop here has been shut and the street has been barricaded.

    The Government of Tamil Nadu should have been published all these informations to the public at large through media officially. This can be useful for the public to be safe and to take preventive measures.
