Four new virus positive cases reported in Mylapore

On Sunday (May 17), four new virus cases have been reported from four different places in Mylapore.

It includes Thiruvalluvar Salai, Director General of Police (DGP) office off Kamarajar Salai in Marina, Prof. Sanjeevi Street and Nochikuppam.

The information regarding these virus cases was given by Chennai Corporation officials who govern civic activities at the respective areas.

At Thiruvalluvar Salai, a man has tested virus positive. Earlier, a middle aged man tested virus positive from this area.

At Prof. Sanjeevi Street at the far end of Karaneeswarar Pagoda Street, one youngster who recently returned from Hyderabad has tested virus positive.

At Director General of Police (DGP) office inside the police headquarters off Kamarajar Salai in Marina, a police officer has tested virus positive.

At Nochikuppam, a 57 year old woman has tested virus positive.

On May 16, 3 virus cases have been reported from Nochikuppam. The affected persons include a 50 year old woman, a 29 year old woman and a 4 year old boy.

All are extended contacts of persons who earlier tested virus positive from this area.
