Hamsanadam Music School kickstarts silver jubilee celebrations. Concerts of senior students go ‘live’

Hamsanadam Music School, founded by music guru, Dr. Shubha Ganesan ( seen in the photo) , is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Every year, in the month of September, the school would conduct its annual day wherein the students would take the stage to display their talents.

This year, however, due to the lockdown, the school plans to mark its silver jubilee by uploading concerts of senior students every other Sunday on their youtube channel. The link is

Says Dr. Shubha, “This year senior students not only from India but from abroad will also perform. I have been taking Skype classes for students from UK, USA, Australia and Singapore since 2005 and they will also be a part of our music school’s 25th year celebration. We started the concerts in the first week of July and it will go on till the end of October”.

Dr. Shubha says that plans are on to include the performance of the junior students too.

Prior to the lockdown, regular classes were held at Akshara Playschool premises at Arisikaran Street, Mylapore. Ph:9176197223.
