NGO offers free ambulance service for animal rescues during cyclone

R.A.Puram based animal welfare NGO ‘Hope for Critters’ is providing free ambulance service for carrying out animal rescues during the cyclone.

Their recently launched ‘pet ambulance’ is available for rescues on Wednesday (Nov. 25) and Thursday (Nov. 26) from 9 am to 5 pm. Rescuers are required to accompany the NGO in the ambulance.

Reads a note from Hope for Critters, ‘Homeless animals are quite likely to experience disorientation and trauma, in addition to physical wounds and exhaustion during the cyclone. Hence, people may reach out to us if they find an animal that needs immediate attention.’
