An official, who manages virus containment at a local Ward of Chennai Corporation says that coronavirus cases continue to be low in the neighbourhood.
The cases have been on the lower side, since the past few weeks.
Says the official, “Covid-19 cases continue to be low since the past few weeks. Each Ward of Mylapore is reporting only 3 or less cases, a day. Sometimes, a few Wards even report ‘nil’ cases.”
However, the official says they continue to hold two fever camps every day. And around 80 people attend each camp. “The number, however, is lower on rainy days.”
Covid (sector) workers also continue to go around the neighbourhood to identify fever and ILI (Influenza-Like Illness) cases, he says.
