St. Luke’s Church in Mandaveli to hold two special services for Christmas

Christmas decorations are going on in full swing at St. Luke’s Church on R.K. Mutt Road, Mandaveli.

On Tuesday, even as workers decorated the church premises with colourful stars, arrangements were being made to ensure social distancing at the prayer hall here.

The church plans to hold two special services for this Christmas. The services will be held on the Christmas day (Dec.25) in Tamizh.

While one service will be held from 4.30 am to 7 am another one is scheduled from 8.30 am to 10 am.

Said a church member, “We usually hold only two services on the Christmas day. We will be continuing the same this year, following the pandemic time regulations.”

“However, we have cancelled the door to door Christmas carols to prevent virus spread.”

The Christmas special services will also be beamed live on the church’s YouTube channel
