Sukanya Balasugavanam, aged 74 years passed away on Friday, February 5.
She was the wife of S. Balasugavanam, retired deputy director, ministry of industries. She was a resident of Mandaveli for more than six decades
She was a home maker and an alumnae of 1962 batch of Lady Sivaswami Girls Higher Secondary School, Mylapore (was actress Lakshmi’s classmate)
She is survived by her husband Balasugavanam, son Sathya Venkatesh, daughter in law Shanthi, daughter Lavanya Padmakumar living in US and grand children
