A free Covid-19 vaccination camp has been set up at the community hall in Srinivasapuram, a colony on the seaside in Pattinappakam.
Some 90 people have already taken the jab, local staff here said.
This follows Chennai Corporation’s move to set up camps in colonies since many people have not cared to take the jab for various reasons, some based on false and coloured information and some saying that the centres are located far off from their homes.
