A petrol station on St. Mary’s Road will soon provide CNG ( compressed natural gas) to all vehicles which are fitted with the facility.
Balakrishna Automobiles, located close to Rain Tree Hotel has put in place Torrent Gas facility and its staff said the service will be on offer in a couple of days.
Though there are still very few cars with CNG which is said to be fuel efficient and saves on expenses, major car manufacturers have already started marketing their CNG-fitted cars and these petrol stations will cater to them.
This station is open from 6 am to about 11 pm, all days of the week.
