Under overcast skies, tired hawkers slowly pulled off the sheets of plastic or canvas that covered the kolu dolls at their stalls this Sunday and early shoppers were walking down North Mada Street by 10a.m. to look for sue bargains.
The prices are not less yet though Navaratri has begun.
But some hard bargains may fetch shoppers dolls they want to own this season.
Since policemen are directing traffic, Sunday morning provided a calm street for shoppers. The buzz will be louder post-lunch.
