Twenty-five families had registered for the Mylapore Times Kolu Contest this Navaratri; the contest accost only 50 entries on a first come first serve basis.
This year, the contest looks at the creativity of the thematic designs around the main kolu at home, to acknowledge and reward the best minds at work.
Judges will visit all the houses to take a look; any time between 9.30am and 1 pm, 3 to 6 pm on any of the two days of on Sept. 23 and 24.
Prizes will be awarded to the best 12 kolu designs.
