If you are driving south on Dr D. G. S. Dhinakaran Road from the Foreshore Estate traffic signals junction you may want to heed to this warning.
Slow down as you cross the boundary wall of the Adyar Poonga’s eastern sector because if you are driving closer to the pavement side of this road you are bound to drive into deep ruts.
These ruts have been caused by streams of water tankers going in and out of the Metro Water’s water filling station located on the eastern side of this busy road.
Some ruts have turned into large pot holes and they are not easily sighted at night. Motorists who are not wary of the dangers get surprised and rattled momentarily. A few road dividers are seen here but they were not used to cut off the ‘danger’ zone.
I have been through that road. so much slush and skidding even then.
