Madha TV based on Luz Church Road will broadcast live, key Masses and services for the Holy Week starting Sunday, April 5. The Holy Week is the most important season in Lent, where the church and its community dwell on the events leading to the condemnation, death and resurrection of Jesus.
Madha TV says it will webcast live Masses that are to be held in private, undisclosed places in Chennai with only the bishop or priest at the altar since regulations do not allow groups together.
Palm Sunday is on April 5, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday make the Holy Week.
Madha TV will also beam the Pope’s services.
