Chennai Corporation’s health centres which offer vaccination are now offering the booster jab ( 3rd jab) to seniors who suffer from co-morbidities.
A senior GCC doctor who oversees operations in the Mylapore zone says the jab is now open only to seniors who must have completed 272 days since they got the second jab and suffer from BP or diabetes.
The jab is given free.
Only Covishield is freely available at these centres; best time to go is between 9.30am and 12noon.
