Actor-community activist S. Ve. Shekher is presenting his play ‘ Crazy Thieves in Palavakkam’ on April 16 evening at Kalyan Nagar Association in Mandavelipakkam in connection with the Tamil New Year celebration of this community.
Admission is free and the play starts at 6.30 p.m. at the Association’s premises – West Circular Road.
Shekher will also be honoured on this occasion. His drama troupe has performed over 6700 shows of his plays, here and abroad and the Trust he manages has held blood donation camps, arranged for the burial of unidentified bodies in hospital mortuaries, promoted eye donation and reached out to help those in need.
