People who have been going to local post offices to buy an Indian flag to fly it at housetops August 13 onwards have been very disappointed.
The stocks have run out. This is because all stocks of the flags were shipped to people who bought hundreds and thousands in orders placed last week.
A Mylapore Post Office staff says they hope to get fresh stocks soon and will have some to sell to individuals. Each flag is priced at Rs.25.
