The image of Lord Raman and Lakshman along with Viswamithra was decorated on the first day of the Mahotsavam festival held at Sri Anjaneyar Temple in Royapettah Main Road.
The festival began on April 4 and will be on April 12.
The picture is of the Viswamithra homam that was performed on April 4.
Anupoma Prakash of R.A. Puram gave a vocal performance on that day. Ramesh accompanied her in the mridangam.
There will be special poojas held everyday at this temple.
