Now, you can take a luxury bus to the airport or from it.
Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has started operating 16-seater luxury air conditioned buses between the Airport and Egmore railway station and Anna Nager West terminus.
The Chennai Airport – Egmore route passes through the Mylapore neighbourhood.
The stops in the area where you can alight or board a bus will be Mandaveli, Park Sheraton and Alwarpet.
These services are available throughout the day.
The buses are equipped with GPS and electronic display boards to provide information to passenger about the approaching stop. It also has a special facility for luggage storage.
