St. Bede’s School, San Thome lost in the finals of the TNCA under 14 cricket tournament held on Feb.29.
The final match was played between Don Bosco School, Egmore and St. Bede’s at Vivekananda College ground in CIT Colony.
Don Bosco scored 190 runs in 50 overs while St. Bede’s were bowled out for 135 in 44.3 overs.
The star of Don Bosco School team was Daryl S Ferrario. He scored 88 runs in 119 balls and then came back to take 5 wickets for 30 runs tohelp his tam win.
Ferrario is a Mylaporean.
In the St. Bede’s team, G. Dhilip, M S Washington Sundar and D. Anchit. Each took a wicket.
