M. S. Susila passed away on Dec.18 in Singapore. She was a resident of Alwarept.
She was born in 1952 and was the grand daughter of Sampoorna Sastriar and daughter of Saraswathy Ammal of Mylapore.
She did her schooling at Lady Sivasawamy Iyer Girls High School and college education from Q.M.C and Lady Vaishnava at Chromepet.
She was married to V. Bhaskaran, a Chartered Accountant in 1980.
She was an ardent devotee of Lord Guruvayurappan and taught Narayaneeyam to many students, says a family member.
She was also proficient in Tiruppughazh, Abhirami Andhadi, Lalitha Sahasranamam and Soundarya Lahari, they say.
