Women’s Day events in the neighbourhood

On the occasion of Women’s Day State Bank of Hyderabad felicitated the girl child toppers in Lady Willingdon Govt. Higher Secondary School, Triplicane.  This is a part of the bank’s Community Services Banking activities. On the occasion of Women’s Day, SBH also declared 0.40 % extra interest on deposits to Women customers for 400 days.

Bank of Baroda’s R K Nagar branch, celebrated Women’s Day on March 8 by inviting their key women customers – entrepreneurs, depositors and doctors.  The gathering included Aarthi Ganesh, Pro-Chancellor, Vel’s University and Dr. Beula Emmanuel, Director, Bharat Scans.

Women’s Day was celebrated at Abbotsbury Apartments in Alwarpet last week. All the women in the campus participated in the games conducted by 4 women among the residents. Women were asked to wear either a saree or jewellery related to their wedding, so when the community gathered Kanchipuram silks stood out. There were some fun events and the meet ended with a special dinner.
