Former SC judge S. Natarajan passes away

Justice S. Natarajan, a  former judge of the Supreme Court of India passed away after a brief illness at a private hospital on Friday, April 11. He was 89 years old and resided in East Abhiramapuram.

The cremation is due on April 12 at 3 pm at the Besant Nagar Corporation crematorium.

Justice Natarajan served as judge of the Madras High Court from 1973 to 1986. He was elevated to the Supreme Court and served there from 1986 to 1989.

He was chairman of the Ethiraj College Trust and was part of the boards of many private companies.

He is survived by his wife and three sons.

The family resides at 26, 2nd Street, East Abhiramapuram.
