On July 12, home-based entrepreneur and owner of ‘Madras Motifs’ Sudha Sekhar launches a one-day workshop for serious sewing enthusiasts in Mylapore.
Called Bag Making 101, this is in association with Susan John, Bangalore-based entrepreneur who owns ‘A Sunny Disposition’. Participants will learn how to make foldover clutches/bags from cloth, how to install zippers, and other tips and techniques. Raw materials, tutorial printouts and a kit will be provided. Participants bringing their own sewing machines get a discount. The fees are Rs.4500.
