Park for special children to be constructed near San Thome

Greater Chennai Corporation in association with Kilikili, an organisation which aims to create public spaces for all children, has issued a work order for the construction of a special park for children with disabilities near San Thome.

The park, which will be built at a cost of Rs. 1.3 crore, can be accessed by wheelchair users and other physically challenged children.

In addition to having a play area , the park will also have equipment which will stimulate the sensory development of children
