On Monday night, Mylapore police detained and arrested a man, Vighneshwar, for possessing the drug methamphetamine.
18g of the drug were seized from him during a vehicle check. Based on his inputs that he had purchased the drug from three men, Sheik Mohideen and Rafiq, both aged 24 years old, and 23 year old Imran were detained too. All of them were handed over to the Narcotics Intelligence Bureau for further investigation.
